Mel Rieman Campground and Recreation Area

Swimming area is the best on the lake. Nice park and tons of room for groups. Now that trees are getting larger the campground is getting nicer too. I hope they plant more and add more sites for rvs.

Nice campground but a little hard to get to right now there is a detour. Unfortunately an hour after we got set up and relaxing and enjoying the view we had a large group of people show up a couple sites over and they cranked up their music until almost 9 pm. So much for our quiet relaxing evening.

We loved this place. Make sure you take the Valley City paved road to it. Electric at site, fresh water fill and dumping included, showers included, flush and vault toilets. Lots of shade trees. We would stay here again!!. Lake is beautiful

Beautiful, small campground right on Lake Ashtabula. Didn't use restrooms or showers, so can't comment on them. Nice area to walk our fur babies and enjoy the outdoors.

Beautiful place! Nice to see they have built a new boat house! Snacks and rentals and such. Well manicured yards. New docks! Nice sunset!!
