I have a had time trying to find a good hair stylist who will work with dreads. Prices are more than reasonable! Most people will not even bother but as i have been doing them myself for 4 years I decided i need help with them. Joe took me in no problem! He helped me sculpt/tease the ends of dreads, he washed and bleached all 80-100 medium sized dreads i have and he also did a much needed scalp treatment! All together i spent 6 hours with Joe talking about life and goals. My dreads are the best they have ever been and i work go back anytime Joe would have me! When someone enjoys what they do, It really shows im their work!
Great place. Joe did highlights and a haircut and it came out excellent. Place was clean and Joe was friendly and did what I wanted and was patient with me since I was nervous about trying a new hair dresser. Will definitely go back!!!! Thanks Joe
Always a great experience. Joe has been doing my hair for over three years and I won’t let anyone else touch it! Typically, I bring in a picture for reference and then just trust him to come close and use his judgment as to what would look good for my skin color/face shape/etc. He has never let me down! Prices are reasonable and time it takes for color/cut are also what you would expect anywhere. I will continue to patronize Rocksteady Hair studio any time I need a new look!
Simply stated, Basil is the best barber/hair stylist I have encountered and I am very particular about who cuts my hair. Basil takes the time to understand what I want, explains how he plans to achieve the look and is meticulous with his work. His experience and continued passion for his craft show as I always leave thinking to myself that I just got the best haircut.
Just moved to CT an was looking for a barber spot to cut my hair cause im very picky who cuts my hair. Made a appointment an when i got there he was super friendly made me feel comfortable an my hair cut was on point also would recommend him to who ever lives in CT
