Beautiful and the restrooms were very clean. Much appreciated hot water in the showers.

A hidden jewel! When we found EL several years ago we were so surprised and pleased. We absolutely love it there and plan to be there several times this summer !!! Best kept secret of North Dakota!!!

This is our favorite campground in eastern ND. Over the last several years, each August, we book 4-5 nights at this campground over our anniversary. The beach is great, the facilities are always spotless, and it's so packed with trails and trees. We absolutely love it. The only thing I would say is a bummer is that there is no cell reception, so you have to drive back up to the entrance of the park to check messages and such, but that's also kind of a good thing because you really feel disconnected (as you should when camping).
