I am a local physician in the area. One of the most important aspects of business is communication and respect for the costumer.nnI was a dedicated customer for over 2 years.nnI had an appointment canceled on me after waiting several weeks on November 11th. Due to an emmploye being exposed to covid19.nnI never recieved a phone call, text or email about rescheduling.nnI suddenly had a notification that I had an appointment. Turns out it was for a different barbershop with a similar name.nnThe secretary was very rude to me, and actually hung up the phone on me.nnI was never rude, or dismissive of her comments.nnEverytime I come get my haircut there is always a different individual checking me out.nnAref my hair stylist met me at the door. With a condensending tone, and was very dismissive.nnHe stated they are very busy and had no time to call his appointments that were canceled. Now booking in January.nnHe stated they will make it right and contact me to schedule an appointment. Brushing me off.nnI never received a phone call.nnDuring the early stages of covid I felt bad for him and his business. And have been giving generous tips ever since.nnAfter our last conversation I can no longer support this businessnnVery poor customer service.
Best me s haircut in Connecticut. Aref is very friendly and helpful. He worked his magic on my hair and will not go anywhere else. Thank you for the great experience and awesome conversation. FYI if you didn’t know they offer free beverage service coffee tea and BEER. Go here you will not regret it. Also because they are so good it is best to make appointments in advance. Best of the best in CT. I’ve been going to Aref at the Barbershop for 5 years and I have never been disappointed. You get a full barbershop experience here not just a haircut!
Coffee, beer, and it’s all super clean! Everybody is nice. Gabbie is elite and is always nice and fun to talk to. Makes it feel less like just a haircut and more of visiting a friend for an hour. I go every couple weeks. I recommend you do the same.
Warm hospitality, friendly staff and elite customer service. You will not be disappointed when you leave. Aref is an experienced barber who is extremely methodical in his work. The shop is just one of those hidden gems.
