I was helped on 9/15 by a gentleman named Larry who was very polite and accommodating when I came in. He helped me set up an account with pep boys and overall was a pleasure to work with. However, as I was going to pay for my services, another gentleman named Englebert came over to where Larry was and decided to tell him that he didn’t like the way in which he handled something and told Larry that the store “had no problems while you were gone” (I take it Larry was off for a few days). I was appalled that he would say this in front of myself, a customer. It was extremely inappropriate and rude. I would like to commend Larry once again for being great and helping me out. As well as for handling Englebert’s nasty comment with professionalism.

They seems always very busy. I was said 1-1.5h to be done changing my vieche's battery, which was much longer than I expected. So asked him to call when it's done, yet never ring.nI showed up store after 1h+ to get my car, the stuff told me just wait. He was very busy which is understandable, so I wait a little but I had to go work, and asked him again, he looked annoyed :/ I saw my key on the counter at same timing, he was just surprised and told me it's finished. He gave me my key, and apologized lightly, so I was fine.nBut today, I called to ask price for oil change. He gave me average price, not check the price for my car. So I got oil change done by other place.nNot bad place, but just these experience were pretty disappointing

Many thanks to service representative LeeAndre for his help and professionalism on a busy Saturday afternoon. Needed a battery for my niece's vehicle and he made the process easy. Will definitely revisit the Hamden Ct. location.

Great service! Helped me diagnose all my problems. Larry from this branch did great.nwas very clear about what my vehicle needed!nWent over pricing in detail.nTold me how long i had to wait.nGave me a ride home since it was a long wait.nOverall great experience still kept a professional attitude during the pandemic!nDefinitely suggest this location.
