The empanadas we tried were amazing!! (spinach, beef, Philly cheese, and chicken philly) They were hand made, hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The crust was flaky. The pork sandwich was delicious! We added a little sauce on which made it divine! The bread pudding was tasty.. Everyone loved it. We will definitely return to try other items. The staff was great.
First off the empanadas were really good! Definitely homemade! Not only do I admire the good food but the employees were so welcoming and friendly! Good job on the outdoor decorations because it caught my eye while getting gas!
So this newly opened restaurant just off Dixwell near the Home Depot has superb homemade Empanadas. The friendly owner explained the variety of different flavors including variations on standard chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian. We ordered 6 beef and six chicken and they were fantastic. A few tables exist on the small patio in front if you want to stay. As the name says grab the delicious homemade empanadas and go and enjoy them with your family. I also had a wonderful grilled chicken sub that was served on fresh delicious sub roll and included almost two breasts of chicken and included with the lettuce and tomato was a great avocado spread. Support these guys, you will not be disappointed.

There's a couple empanada filings they offer not listed on their online menu, so I recommend going in. Also, skip the spinach and cheese, it's inediblely overcooked.
