Always a little nervous to try out a new place, but I felt right at home here. I had a complete Vivids service with Dee. She listened to exactly what I was hoping to achieve, reviewed color swatches with me, and kept me informed through every step of the process. She was very professional, kind, and also just a cool person to talk to!! She suggested products to help maintain my new style, but did not make feel feel obligated to make a purchase. I really appreciated her suggestions for aftercare and maintenance and will definitely be getting a signature Color Bomb to prolong my style. The music and vibe were chill, and I felt super comfortable with Dee. The salon was also extremely clean and we kept our masks on the whole time. She often checked in on me to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed, like water or snacks. If you’re looking for an original style with a super knowledgeable stylist, this is your place!!

Dee is amazing and brings so much talent and creativity to melt hair, fashion, fun and self expression! She listens to your goals, matches the cut/color/style to your personality and is such a beautiful person inside and out. I have been going basically since she opened and it just keeps getting better and better. The ambiance and vibe of the salon is so chill and combines all the elements. I am very happy with the recent change of the hair stylists as the ones that are there carry the vibe of mastery, skill and self expression that the salon gives off. While Dee owns it the chairs are rented to others and the talent there now is the best I have seen since she opened. Renters are responsible for their own business and I wouldn't see anyone who has left due to their immaturity and lack of professionalism. Dee is the best. I have the best. I send my loved ones directly to her for the best.nYou get what you pay for and Dee and her work is priceless. Don't settle for less.

She is such a beautiful person inside and out. I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences coming here. The only person I would trust to touch my hair after 10 years of myself touching it. My mom loves coming and here as well such a great perk. The love for the art it shows. The love for the people she takes care of really shows. It’s super clean , and she really takes the time to make you feel like you are truly special. You can tell to the attention to detail she really puts into your hair. I can’t wait to go back!!

My favorite place to get my haircut. I recommend lots of people here. If I could give it 6 stars I would but I think 5 is enough because my only one complaint would be that although it’s named after a dog, and there’s an Ariel that works there, you will not have your haircut by either a dog or a mermaid. Kind of disappointing. However, the owner Dee is very dedicated so I imagine those improvements are right around the corner. Also, if you have an irrational fear of bees such as myself (I’m not allergic I just don’t trust bees because they have too many stripes), you will be happy to know that there are no bees at the Mur salon.nnI got my haircut by Ariel (who is not a mermaid) and she did a great job. Dee has very high standards (except that she allows me to come anywhere near the place) and will not allow anyone to leave who isn’t happy. Just don’t tell her that you almost used box dye at some point. I don’t know what that is but she doesn’t like it.nnAlso, there are two negative reviews, one of them, the person tried to spell “definitely” and wrote “defiantly”, and clearly has some personal issues; The other one complained about something that happened at a different salon. They deserve bees.

The staff is amazingly friendly and professional and extremely knowledgeable. The salon is immaculate and all the stylists work well together - it’s a team effort - they want everyone to succeed. Dee the owner is amazing and very humbled and thanks everyone who enters her shop. My stylist Porsha rocks! I can’t say enough good things about them.
