It is a nice place to go for a peaceful walk.good trails well marked and clean ,good for elderly people, who cant walk in hills and rough terrain. Had a few muddy places but it was spring time.so once the weather warms it will dry up.

I had the woods at High lawn Forest Park all to myself this afternoon

CT Forest and Parks is THE organization to support if you love walking in the woods. The Blue Trails system is over 800 miles of well-marked and well-loved trails - their book identifies them all and is a must for any serious hiker.

The Connecticut Walk Book is a timeless treasure for navigating Connecticut wilderness on foot.

The blue trails in CT are a little treasure that CFPA keeps alive! Thank you!
