I have heard great things about Personal Business Service.nnThat payroll deal sounds great! What a good contract the Sr Center got. Many accounting firms have a minimum # of employees that must be on payroll or it's not worth it. There are very strict laws organizations and businesses must comply with to process the withheld state and federal taxes, social security, unemployment insurance, and medical for employees paychecks. It is almost always cheaper to hire an accountant to do it than to hire and train an additional employee or team of payroll employees. The standards are very strict and laws are constantly changing, so it is risky legally doing it yourself. If you take out too much, the employee can press charges, and if you take out too little, you have federal agencies fining you.nnThis is a company I would want to work for, or use, based this information. 8-)
