Great service, fair price, very honest and practical. He gave me calls to update me on progress and options moving forward. Cant ask for anymore than that with a mechanic. Would recommend to anyone.

Owner absolutely refuses to wear a mask. I went here for emissions. The owner wasn’t wearing a mask in his shop. I handed him the paperwork and when he got to my vehicle I asked him to wear a mask while inside my car. He refused to put a mask on and told me to go elsewhere. Middlefield did my inspection while following CDC guidelines. I’ll never return!

With 3 different auto repair shops to go to in Durham, it can be hard to pick which one. However, going to Jim’s to have your car worked on is the best option by far. Very reasonable, honest, hard working guy. I always feel confident bringing my car to Jim - I’ve been going for years. 5/5 stars!
