Except for the ticks, its a fantastic place for community sports, Some of the best Trout fishing in the area. (Pomperauge River) flows thru the inner perimeter along the walking/bridal trail . The is some parking on one end Judson road side. And a gated parking lot on Jack's Bridge road side. Dogs too.
The park is very nice to visit. Is so Beautiful you able to walk along a river the sounds from the water are quite Relaxing. Thier are path ways that are with breath taken views of the Three Rivers part..nThat has Very spectacular views.
Nice quick easy walk with my dog when I have shopping to do in town.
Very nice soccer fields.
Nice place to walk the dog along the river, however too many people think that this is the Southbury dog park and many of them allow their dogs to run free here.
