Great park, granted we hung out with awesome company so it helped but the leaves changes colors, it has a creek and many hiking trails and we rented the gazebo which allowed us to gather and social distance properly on the open air. One small problem is that alcohol is prohibited through the park, I never understood this restriction when you have a group of families who are responsible. Anyways no one was checking but it's something to not and be aware of. The kids had a blast running around the park and the adults used the hiking trails and all in all an awesome experience. I will be back and hold my liquor.

The Cobble mountain hike is a must do... You get great views of the Catskill mountains on a clear day. For a loop, go up the white trail and come down on the blue trail if you want to avoid scrambling down the rocks.

It was a great hike on white trail. Very steep though, get ready to use your handa towards the top especially. Great view, medium to hard climb down on blue to green. Again there is big drop very steep coming down. Will go back to finish the whole trail. Recommend it.

I loved visiting this park. While many of the trails are over broken ground, they are well-marked at all points and I never lost my place. As with many parks, some of the trails are more challenging than others - I would recommend speaking to the staff at the park office about the different options before setting off or making sure that you can read and pay attention to the contour map! I made the mistake of picking a set of trails without doing this and had a much harder time than I thought - luckily I had brought extra water along.
