Awesome two hour hike in the woods. Clockwise is a gentle up and steep down, counter clockwise is a steep up and gentle down. You can't lose either way. If you're fresh off the couch, you'll break a sweat, but the trail is totally do-able. Fun fact: the Pine Knob trail is the blue mark, and the AT is the white mark: you actually do a bit of the AT on this hike :-)
Again another one from best of CT. Great trail very similar to Macadonia and Bear Mountain but full of pine trees. Great views. A must if you hike. Moderate not difficult
Fun and pretty hike. A little tough for our four year old, but he did without complaint! Both 8 year old and 4 year old had fun! Parents too!
Probably one of the most beautiful trails in the state. Definitely the most beautiful one I’ve been on. A good workout if you start counter clockwise, with a great leisurely stroll back down the other side. Beautiful waterfalls lining the trail. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a hike with breathtaking views!
Wonderful 1.5 hour loop hike!
