Foothills Income Tax Service LLC

had a great experience with foothills tax service! was in a bit of a sticky situation, davis helped me a lot and got me a great return :)

Very disappointed and very frustrating to say the least. We are new to this area and chose to use Foothills as our tax service company this year, needless to say I will be shopping for a better company for next year. The tax preparer had to redo our taxes 2x as she had made errors 2x; initially she had told us we owe the state and federal between $11-12, we mailed in our payments only to get a call almost a wk later that she looked at our taxes again and noted an error (after all was already said and done) and that in fact we owe a combined approx $700....REALLY? How, what??? This just did not seem right but she tried telling us it was in fact correct. Well I decided after taking out last yrs and what she had already submitted realized she had put in the wrong numbers. Sooooo I called her back to let her know my findings.... and lets just say she wasn't too happy. After several days she called back to let me know there was an error and in fact we are now getting approx $200 back.....are you kidding me??? Never apologized, nothing. I called back several days later to speak to the owner because I felt that we deserved at least 1/2 off the fee of $175, he finally called be back a wk later. Mr Hoffnagel apologized and was willing to give me $50 discount and told me the check would be in the mail. Well approx 3 wks later there has been NO check. I'm all about 2nd chances and after talking to him we decided we would have him do our taxes next yr, well unfortunately for him that will never happen as he did not fulfill his promise on top of those errors.

Davis has been doing my families tax returns for 20 yrs.
