Beautiful little pond featuring plently of little sights and secrets, and a nice hike for any time of day and any season. Features old stone walls, mossy boulders and plenty of mountain laurel groves. My personal favorite area is near the end of the red trail on the left side of the pond- there's a little outcropping you can sit down at and enjoy the pond. Wildlife includes hawks, chipmunks, and the occansional bear or beaver.
Great hike nice and quiet very few people
Super beautiful hike. Very quite and remote, not super public. Multiple trail options and clean signage of the trails. Makes for a good 30-45 minute loop if you just want some scenery!
Awesome Trail, not for beginners. Lots of rock climbing and slippery areas. You will need to use both hands and feet in some places. Take lots of water with you. You will need a bug spray. Dogs cannot do some parts of the trail.
