Beautiful views of the river and axe factory buildings. A lot of people go to the bridge to take pictures because it's so pretty there. Sunsets over the river are picturesque.
Beautiful around the pond and then along the road especially in the fall.
Beautiful trail, right along the Farmington River. Benches along the way to take in the views. Collinsville Center is worth a visit, too.
Spectacular trail running along the Farmington River
Beautiful trail to get some exercise and fresh air while hiking or biking along the Farmington River. We usually start off further south of here and go as far as Collinsville, but we decided to explore a little further and found the trail continues on. Once you get to the nursery/florist shop, you need to stay to the right (when heading north of Collinsville).nThere are signs that tell you about the various wildlife you may see along the way. Also, there are many spots to stop for photos as you go. I saw one person last time we were there, with a tripod set up.
