I just got my second lobe piercing at Claire’s and it went really well. The woman, Kat, who did my piercing clearly knew what she was doing, she made sure the marks on my ears were perfect and she knew exactly what earrings would be best based on my ear shape and the fact this was my second piercing. The actual store is good too, they always have good sales and I was given a coupon with my piercing!
My complaint isn’t about the store or service but about their rapid healing ear piercing solution.nnMy 13 year old daughter got her 2nd hole ear piercing (solution says ears heal in 3 weeks). We paid extra to get the quick heal so that it would be healed between her fall and winter sports. She followed the direction and 4 weeks later I finally allowed her to switch her earrings.nnApparently her ears were not fully healed even though it was a week after the so called rapid healing solution should have worked. One of the earrings became embedded inside her ear the following day to the point that her school nurse sent her home and said she needed an ER to remove it. Luckily she finally was able to get it out but her ear became infected and her holes closed up.nnI’m very upset that we paid extra so the ears would heal in half the time and it caused even more problems. I think for now on we’ll be using piercing pagoda.
