Love this gym! Always a different workout with great equipment.

Went at noon time. Not crowded. Had a good wokout. Machines were well maintained and clean. Everyone was obeying the rules and wearing masks.

Mask policy violation.nnI went to this gym for about a week, and everything was great until you start seeing the true colors of the staff. While I was there, the lady in the front desk was dating one of the gym members. That gym member had a reign to do whatever he wants as if he worked there. Also, the individual made himself comfortable to be behind the desk, although he never worked there, and that is besides the point.nnWhile I was working out there, the management made it clear that all of the gym members had to wear a mask while working out. However, the individual I have mentioned earlier was working out and did not wear the mask. He was also talking to other gym member while not wearing a mask, which is a direct violation of the gym rules and CDC of the state of Connecticut.nnWhen I have mentioned this to the front desk lady, she immediately defended the actions and I quote “ well he lifts very heavy, and he works out hard.” In other words, she was defending the policy violation. The front desk lady was also very defensive.nnWhen I have mentioned this to the management, the attitude was even worse. All it was mentioned that “ I have talked to her, and everyone is entitled to have a bad day.” Since the manager was rude during my email interaction with her, I simply asked her do not email me. However, the manager continued to email me even late at night.nnI highly recommend that you do not go to this gym because it is not only unsafe, but you are dealing a a very poor leadership and terrible staff. The same staff who will tell you to put on a mask but will not apply the same rules to their significant other.nnIf you do not want to catch covid, then I would highly recommend to avoid this gym.

This location is great. This branch needs to train the East hartford location, starting with teaching them to provide quality customer service.
