I'm disappointed to hear negative reviews but I've never had a problem with them. I go to Hartford Federal because they share privileges with Connex Credit Union which closed their East Hartford branch where I used to go. I do my banking online for the most part but when I need to deposit a check or something, they're always helpful.

Checking to Savings is Unlimited TransfersnnSavings to Checkings is limited to 6 TransfersnnUpdate: 11/01/2019 10:55 a.m.nnAnd once again I am stuck with a twenty dollar fee for checking my balance at an ATM and doing money transfers after I asked them to have ALL my money transfered into my account. I will be reporting this bank to the Better Buisness Bureau and I will get my twenty back. After today, I will be banking human again by opening up an account with TD Bank.

I have never experienced such unprofessionalism in my life. Roxanne (bank teller) and Kitty the (branch manager) mocked, laughed, humiliated and insulted me during my visit there this month to do my banking in front of other customers. This isn't my first experience with the teller Roxanne who is extremely rude to customers. I completely understand why the online (2.4) ratings are so low at this facility. They should not be working with the public or in this community. Cultural sensitivity training is desperately needed for those individuals working at the Hartford Federal Credit Union Downtown Branch in Hartford. The HFCU Board Members must be made aware of what is going on there. I will never return to this place for business again. I shared this with others who have also had similar experiences there and have closed all of their accounts. As a longtime customer I am hugely disappointed.

Rude employees all of the time. Have never gotten any assistance from them at all. They don’t make you feel apart of the family. Banks are way better.

I am extremely satisfied with The staff at the HartforFederal credit unions downtown Hartford location.My advise would be to consult with them regarding your banking needs in comparison to Banking at other institutions. I've been a member for 14years and growing. sincerely, S Ballard/S.B
