Centerville Municipal Airport (TVK)

Great airport when enroute E-W or W-E. Easy in-out. Good self serve fuel, great little lobby to have a snack/drink (honor system) or take a short break. Clean bathrooms.

Was on my way home to Wisconsin from Missouri and had to land at Centerville due to some bad weather ahead. Spend the night in the FBO. Great spot to rest and relax before heading back up the next afternoon. Fridge was stocked with food, water, pop, and candy. There were also a couple of courtesy cars on the field also, which I didn't take advantage of. Such a pretty airport in the middle of Iowa, really felt peaceful on my short stay here.

The flight instructor ken Mercer took $1000 dollars prepaid for classes and now he never shows up or is Not available for teaching

What a great place to stop.nThis FBO doesn’t see much of a traffic but they know how to receive it.nAll the amenities of an great FBO are there.nI miss it already.
