Most negative experience tonight by far. This platos closet is very unwilling to help you. The managers do everything they can to get out of doing work from returns to sales. Terrible customer service. Definitely go to the wethersfield one instead.
Literally a waste of time. Brought in a whole bin of mens items in which they post they’re in need of all the time, and they didn’t take a single thing.Some of the items being newly worn Hollister Jeans, perfect condition shirts, etc. An actual joke.
Mislead us following opening with the 50% clearance advertised. We figured it was store-wide with plain advertising, but ended up paying twice expected. I'm not the type to cause conflict with store employees so ate it.
So, I am completely and utterly displeased with my experience at platos closet. I came into the store with a bag of clothes expecting to get more than ten dollars back. And I got three dollars. The clothes were in great condition and they were from very nice brands but according to the stores policy they were very unappealing. And the workers were very rude and passive aggressive. did not enjoy my time there
Paid over $200 for new nike air max and only a week old and worn for two hours. They wanted to offer me $24. I'm not a crackhead. Very insulting ! I do not recommend this store. They did no research to see how much they were worth. Very poor service. Was not expecting to get a ton of money , but at least a fair amount.
