Honestly I was a student here and all I have to say is that if you want a better education in cosmetology this school is not it. The teachers pick their favorites and stick with them, if you aren’t one of the favorites the teachers don’t care about you or your education. There has been multiple situations in which my own parents had to come into the school because whenever I tried to speak up for myself nothing would happen and the school administrators would not even care. It got to a point where if we needed help the teachers always had a problem giving grades, or even helping out with a haircut. The whole point of the school is to move up into different phases to learn different ways of different things but you can tell that the teachers don’t work as a team and are really inconsistent.

Couldn’t ask for a more professional environment. Martin is so energetic with his staff and all the students. It is so much fun going to school there! I get excited every morning I make the commute to Plainsville. I know that I am going to leave there better equipped to start my own career. This team really keeps me encouraged to go home and watch more make up videos. I highly recommend!!

IIC was a great overall experience. Even during difficult times with Covid they kept the class engaged and I walked away confident in my abilities. The 45 hour makeup fundamentals class was just right for my schedule and I would recommend any of my friends or colleagues give IIC a call!

My girlfriend attends the International Institute of Cosmetology and seeing how I became her practice model I’m not sure for my sake if that was a good or bad thing! Every afternoon that I picked her up from their awesomely modern location she came out of the door with a smile on her face and a few newly learned skills she couldn’t wait to tell me all about. I would drive us home visualizing the cosmetology skills which were about to be used on my face. It has been a lot of fun watching her study hair and makeup, she has already been offered a full time position at a few of her favorite salons. Maybe I’ll be her newest customer. Great staff! Amazing teachers, extremely professional environment, I highly recommend!!
