Original Governor's Mansion

Gorgeous craftsmanship and immaculately preserved and restored rooms and objects from another age, presented by lovely and knowledgable people. The green leather paneling and detailed woodwork in the dining room alone is worth the visit.

We had a wonderful tour of the governor's mansion in helena. Anthony was a great tour guide and we learned a great deal about the history of the mansion and the early history of Helena. If you have an hour and like old buildings, this is well worth your time

Nice slice of history. Easy to pick out some non period specific restoration items though. Glad its here and the tour is very nice.

Unfortunately we weren't able to go inside but we walked all around the grounds. It's a very cool building and I'm glad that it is still around as a museum. There's an entry fee and limited hours for a tour.

The tour was awesome! I loved that they kept us engaged and it was fun to see inside the house. The tour guides were so welcoming and I thought it was great that they dressed up. Would recommend to others :)
