This trail can be difficult at times depending which direction you are going in. It is wide and well marked .On nice days and afternoons there can be a lot of foot traffic. It is a dog friendly trail but please keep your fur-children leashed! You never know if a walker is around the corner with a leashed dog who nippy with other dogs.

So I went here to prove that I can do something alone and I did it. Great walk to just relax on and clear your head. If you walk in from Mountain Rd hug left for a pretty awesome view of Newington. Anyway thanks for reading and see you later Cedar Mountain.
Very beautiful place to get away, lots of nature and wildlife, small streams, a cliff area, trails, and beautiful scenery. This is my sister and I's new favorite spotud83dude0a Please bring bag to pick up after yourselves though because I hate to see trash lying around such a beautiful place. And remember, just like any other nature hike, BRING BUGSPRAY its summer and these mountain mosquitos do not play, although I've hardly seen ticks here. The directions are quite confusing for it just sends you to a dead end, you have to walk down the closed road till you see the path on the right.
A quick hike to a great view. It's pretty steep at first then has a gradual slope, but it's pretty fast to get to the top.
