I think I’m the only one who did not experience any changes with the tune installed. Mpgs did not change at all and I still have some turbo lag as well. I did not notice any differences between the stock trans tune and the sft trans tune. I am very disappointed with the tunes. The customer service is great and they will do anything to help you out.

Stage 2 tune Jeep ecodiesel. Tune worked but only after being charged an additional $200 after perches because of intake and throttle body delete. Should have been on website or disclosure that let me know. Took almost a week to get tune after sending in when I was told I should get it back same day. Also they will tell you they can do tire size change but they do not! Not happy with service I would look elsewhere unless you like dealing with incompetence for $1200.

Company is run by an owner and staff that really do put customer service first. I've had a great experience with them. I had difficulty with getting their product to work and they were very helpful, when email support wasn't working they scheduled me an appointment with their support group real fast, had me on the phone, even remoted in to my computer. They have worked long hours to do everything they could to make their customers happy. They are obviously a group of individuals that are proud of their product and what they do. Their products are great too. Continued development and support of their product is fantastic.

The software for the ecu and transmission works fantastic using stage while keeping my emissions in place. Noticeable power while the transmission tune is incredible. Stage 2 is next after my warranty expires. Jimmy is the owner/CEO and is passionate about his software and walked me thru the upgrade. Improvements would be the execution of the actual software upload. My recommendation is to use a app to control and update any changes to the software or a preloaded touchscreen with modules to save time and money. I would give SFT a 5 star once they figure out the back office upload functionality. These guys are the only folks that are reprogramming the software without removing the ECU. Big Win!

Submitted my ECU file to SFT Friday afternoon, knowing they expect 3 business days turn around but no guarantee to get the tune file. I emailed SFT to let them know and just pinged some folks on Facebook and SFT burned some late night oil and sent me my tune by Saturday night after normal business hours.. And boy it's something magical. Turns the laggy, gutless little diesel into a peppy, tire spinning, fuel sipping exhaust brake stopping little machine. I am just blown away how different the truck is. I've only ever owned it with V08. If this gives the original power back plus 40hp it feels like it added 100 throughout the rev range to about 3400 where the motor starts to run out of steam. Way more observed boost under 2200RPM with a peak around 23-24 on Torque Pro. No lag when cold, instant throttle response. And the throttle is actually progressive like it should be, as opposed to the factory throttle calibration that feels like 0-15% then no change in power till about 50% and then it doesn't pull any harder beyond that, in my experience. It even idles smoother! I am blown away by the over the top customer service and quick responses and friendliness with my ignorance of diesel tuning, even though I am mechanically knowledgeable and have tuned other vehicles, each method has it's quirks, especially those with locked ECUs. If I could give 6/5⭐'s I would. They did this in spite of not having any hand sets to complete my full order as the touch screens are on back order but noticed I was anxious to get tuned and offered to send the clear ECU device to get my ECU tuned in the meantime and then will send the rest of my order soon as their stock is filled back up. Definitely won me over and filled me with confidence in there support staff and tuning abilities. The truck has usually held 8th gear somewhat unless climbing reasonable hills (3.92 rear) but now it shrugs off strong head winds and moderate hills holding 8th gear, ECU Tune only! Can't wait till I get the trans Tune to put the icing on the cake. 👏 Well done SFT!
