Clam Box

Went this past Saturday. Place wasn't busy at all. First three things I wanted they didn't have. I then asked what was available and received an attitude. Told my order would take 10minutes. Waited 20 minutes. Another patron pulls and goes inside, places an order. His is done in minutes. Guy gets his food and I'm told my food will be out shortly. 45 minutes we waited for an easy order. Cape cod prices for trash seafood. Batter on the fish was horrible and fish was tiny. Shrimp was ok . Best thing about the meal was the fries. Terrible onion rings . Don't waste your time! Me and my wife love seafood , this was disappointing.

If you like seafood this is the place to go pricing is reasonable and the food is amazing

Will go back soon!!!!! I went here for lunch with a friend for the first time to try it out, see how the food was. I had the lobster grilled cheese with onion rings which was suggested by Rose, who does all of the cooking, and it was delicious! Grilled perfectly, golden brown with a nice portion of lobster and cheese. The onion rings were the thin kind which are hard to come by and my favorite, not the thick sliced which most places sell. They were golden and crunchy. The coleslaw is also made in house and was crisp and fresh, very good. My friend had the clamstrip basket with fries, coleslaw and tater sauce which is also made there, so good. The claims tasted so fresh I could not believe it, awesome. Carmen was out server and she and Rose were both wonderful, helpful and we had a great conversation with them ud83cudf1enMy friend also ordered stuffed clams to go for her boyfriend who had been there before and loves them. Rose said she makes them with fresh chopped clams and their on house stuffing, they looked delicious.nWish I took some pictures, next time.nAs far as the decor, the tables and chairs were a bit flimsy, the cups were small plastic, and forks, etc were plastic, plastic serving baskets for the food, a soda machine with water, no unsweetened tea or hot tea, kind of like a seafood take out/eat in at the beach without the ocean and beach decor but the food and the people who work there make up for most of those shortcomings.n*They should have unsweetened tea and hot tea, those are staples.

Fresh whole belly clams lightly breaded fried perfectly. Coleslaw was the vinegar style also fresh and flavorful. Clam chowder excellent.

I had a delicious clam strip basket. Staff was super friendly, great customer service. I will be going back.
