It was my first time there. I will go again.
The food is delicious, the staff are very friendly... However I order the same things on the menu and they seem to be made completely different every time I order it, I wish they would make it with the same ingredients and the same way each time... especially when it's a menu item that doesn't change... besides the prices fluctuating, I'd say that the food being delicious is what keeps me coming back... But I definitely suggest they try not to make it different every time.
The friendliness of the staff always makes me come back
Poor appearance when you walk in. Not inviting. It smells like old fried food. Servers are friendly but do not engage the client. Very overpriced. The food lacks flavor. It does not taste authentic. Not warm and tastes old. Do not recommend this place.
I just stopped into Mofongo in New Britain with my husband for the first time and I was impressed! The service was good and quick, and the food was fresh and delicious. I am always weary of places that have pre-made food in the front because who's to know how long the food has been sitting out, but I can tell that those working in the restaurant take great care and pride in the appearance and the taste of the food they are serving. My husband and I are truly happy to have discovered this gem (even though we are a couple years late in the discovery I am told) and we cannot wait to come in again with our friends and try other food on the menu!
