Stopped to take it in today. Nice views along the dam. Took a walk around the pond. It was pretty rocky with roots too, so needed to be careful with the falling leaves. Nice views along the way in spots.
Hiking, fishing and nature! Beautiful and well maintained. Worth a trip.
Great trails.. not too difficult.. beautiful... serene atmosphere
Nice place for a hike of varying lengths and difficulties. You can take an easy, short walk around the scenic reservoir, fish, maybe have a picnic and take some photos. Or if you want a challenge, head up towards box mountain and enjoy some steeper, rocky, muddy and root covered trails. It looks like there have been some improvements since my previous visits years ago. In particular, I love the new bridge and bench over by the dam. Bring your camera.
