I had been attending here for years and been in the Jewish community in west Hartford for over 25 years. To be subjected to the type of humiliation and embarrassment by the security in place just to come listen to the megillah reading. I pointed out people who would vouch for who i am and instead was treated coldly like an outsider or some kind of untouchable. Never have i been made to feel the way i did this night. The warm and caring atmosphmere only applies to certain people and proves to me even further how toxic this community is......
