Amazing homemade vegan food you're just simply not going to find anywhere else (at least not remotely close). It definitely lives up to its name having notable spice in many options, but nothing too crazy, even with a moderately low spicy tolerance as mine. It's a tad pricey for being so casual (generally takeout), but still worth it. The menu is almost too casual - I've found it's best to just ask what each item is (because you can choose a handful) but they're all super friendly and glad to explain everything.

I asked for a little bit of everything. Sat down at the near by park and ate.nnBest feeling ever. Felt a nice warmth starting at my forehead, then a surge through out my body. ;) I'll return someday maybe.

Really good food, all vegan. The coconut tofu is just incredible--so tasty and such a satisfying chewy texture. First time trying the akee fruit, had a lovely delicate texture. Tried a chocolate chip cookie which was good, and a pumpkin spice loaf which was alright, kinda dry. Dosas are decent and split pea patty is dope. Morning porridge is tasty. They are usually up and running with their full spread of food by lunch time.nnThe Jamaican Rundown was delicious, as well as the curry seitan.nnAlso tried the burrito style Gouda (incredible texture), and Jamaican Rundown.

Nice location, easy to get to and close to downtown Hartford. The staff was very friendly and my food came out quickly, and hot. It is also very fairly priced. They have a food collection of authentic fresh homemade food, cooked with a healthy range of spices. Also; everything is vegan!!! Good for you AND the environment.
