Probably the most interesting capitol I’ve been to. Very unique look, almost looks like a castle with the many sculptures and the decorative facade. Love the gold dome, reminds me of my home state of Colorado. Fits Connecticut very well in my opinion. Unfortunately I was unable to tour so I didn’t see the inside of the building, but there is a nice park adjacent to it with great views of the downtown skyline. Hope to come back sometime soon and get the full experience!
What an amazing building. Equally stunning inside as out. Truly an architectural wonder for New England and our country. One of the best capital buildings anywhere in the world and one of the few that has a true gold-leaf roof.

Stunning building on the inside and out. The statues, marble flooring, rooms and historic elements of the building are fascinating. You really have to go if you’ve never been here, it’s truly a great place to visit. Book a tour and check out the Connecticut capitol building, it’s worth it!
