We did a short hike in both directions from the parking lot along the river. The newly constructed walkways and railings are well done and safe and workers were adding gravel to the wider path. The falls are easily viewed from the walkways. We went during the week at midday so it was not crowded.nThe falls are pretty with several good drops.
So many areas to explore.
Beautiful falls not too far from the parking lot. The trail runs parallel to the falls so you can make your hike short or as long as you want. Doable for younger kids if they're steady on their feet and you help them. It *can* be dangerous so just use caution (any rocks with moss will be slippery even if they don't seem like it). Be safe!
The falls are worth a visit, especially in the fall; short downhill walk from the parking area takes you to the fall; graveled path close by for short walk. You can walk on rocks to get close to the fall so wear shoes with good rubber grip.
Gorgeous! Kept thinking this must be completely different without a drought or springtime. Definitely will be back to find out!
