Cotton Hollow Preserve

Beautiful river. Trail needs lots of maintenance. Otherwise, pretty scenic.

My favorite place in town to hike. Very easy and beautiful hike. Also lots of history at Cotton Hollow.

Beautiful, peaceful walk along a nice brook. The path can be a bit rooty at times but not terrible.

If you're someone that is not afraid of the Woods this is perfect you don't have to go far in it's beautiful as quiet as a rental is peaceful he's always good to take off your shoes and put your feet in the water I recommend this for anybody that's been stressed out due to the Coronavirus don't go there with trashy food just go to see and feel don't mess it up for the rest. But you will enjoy yourself be safe we're good pudding and enjoy the water if you go far enough there is a waterfalls :-) enjoy stay peaceful stay humble stay safe

This is a spot I used to like taking my kids to for a swim when it gets hot in the summer. The trail portions that I’ve seen are very picturesque. Unfortunately, word about this once hidden gem has gotten out. I absolutely love the little watering hole that you can swim in, but there are always a lot of people there now. Many of them are teens and 20 somethings who leave a lot of trash and litter behind. Today was also the second time I’ve been there in a row where you could smell marijuana long before you reached the area to swim. In fact, the police were walking out as we got there. It’s no longer a place that I would bring my kids to. This is rather unfortunate because it would otherwise be a very nice outdoor space. The landscape and scenery easily deserve five stars, however the way how humans have treated the place has lowered effect quite a bit.
