Absolutely fantastic! Moroccan Lamb Pagine was a culinary triumph. Dessert offerings are original and sumptuous. This restaurant features Egyptian, Moroccan, as well as other Mediterranean dishes. The owner is Egyptian and this is his second establishment in the Farmington Valley. A must evening out destination!
Excellent food. BYOB. Amazing family run business - lovely couple from Egypt who are so kind, helpful, appreciative and eager to please. They create really high quality and healthy food. A gem in Unionville. Love it!
First and LAST visit (go elsewhere). Owner/service was rude. No one in the restaurant and it took forever to get served our small, overpriced portions. Also loved that they charge extra to use a credit card (of course, no mention of this until the bill comes). The tables were dirty, the place looks like it could use a good overall cleaning. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Atmosphere, service and food were OK, Portions kind of small, prices expensive.
Prices are outrageous. The food I ordered (chicken shawarma platter) literally looked like dog food and tasted about the same. I’ve had this item many times and places throughout the Northeast over the years and have never seen anything like what they serve here. And again, the price is ridiculous! Service was very poor, had to ask for everything, including napkins. Got served an appetizer for 3 people, not given any plates. Asked server for plates, he brought 1 over?? Very confusing. And the write in “+$ for credit card” which was confusing. When my mom asked it to be explained, the woman owner was extremely condescending and said “it’s really simple “ in a snarky way. Overall....rude, not clean, overpriced, and down right disappointing!!!
