We thought the Recreation Area was lovely. We met midway between Mass & NY to see our daughter, son-in-law & granddaughter. The only issue was no garbage can. I understand the concept but sadly, people left garbage that we had to pick up to keep everyone safe. ESPECIALLY in the Pandemic, therenShould be trash cans.
Ample parking, well maintained grounds. No trash cans which is a little inconvenient but I didn't see any litter.
Great sports venue for school age children. Many fields, lots of parking and some rest facilities.
Nice easy walk, and I found some delicious wild grapes hidden among all the vines
Nice beginner friendly biking and hiking trails with good views of the Farmington River.
