Parking is available, very intense, relaxing and don't forget to look for a stick it will help you climb those rocks.
Love the trail, HATE the parking situation. A nice hike, lots of inclines and rocks to climb on. However, the sheer stress of trying to park and/or cross route 6 to access the trail makes me reluctant to come back.

on a busy road, but there's room for a good amount of cars. careful not to take your front bumper off with the big dip
THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE PARKING NOT FOR THE TRAILnThe town should invest on this parking for a nice place like Metacomet trail, install some road signs to make it noticeable, and make it safer for people to park. Parking is located right next to a bussy highway where people drives at 50mph., with little room to maneuver. (You basically reverse on to the road), and really dangerous if you are comming from the other side of the road.
