Farmington Valley Physical Therapy

This place is fantastic! The therapists are very attentive and talented. They provide a much deeper level of therapy than any place I've been before. Somatics is the way to go!

I went to Farmington Valley Physical Therapy and left in worse shape than when I originally came in. I would be told to do exercises without much proper instruction and correction and then be left in a room completely alone for 10-20 minutes at a time. I would be there for an hour and maybe work with the therapist for about 15-20 minutes while he moves back and forth from patient to patient.nnAfter a month of no improvement and what seemed like worsening conditions and more pain, I switched to a different physical therapy establishment and had a completely different experience. The therapist was with me the entire time and was Far more knowledgeable and friendly than Farmington Valley Physical Therapy.nI’ve recovered more in the past few days at the new establishment than i have going to Farmington valley for a month, I would not return to this establishment and do not recommend it.nnWhen i discussed my concerns with the poor quality i’ve been receiving and was deciding to switch therapists. The owner, ms boguslawa said “if they mess you up, don’t come back to fix you.” And that very much was not the case. Durring the course of their treatment i had to take myself to the emergency room because i was in so much more pain than when i first came in. likely due to the only and quite poorly trained therapist that is on staff working with patients.

I absolutely LOVE it here! Great care, excellent customer service, pleasant atmosphere. Boguslawa Braydon is amazing! She teaches you how to take care of yourself and maintain your health! I highly recommend this place!nnI took a somatic yoga class today. I’ve never felt so relaxed and flexible and calm. It was wonderful!!

I cannot speak for the entire practice as I only went once with 1 therapist. My therapist came in, did her assessment, went over some somatics exercises, asked me to do ten sets and she said she would be back. Well she didn't come back. So the therapist in the next room who had a patient came over and hooked me up to a tens machine. I haven't had any luck with tens machines and have tried them several times. I was on it for what seemed like forever. When the machine went off, I had to unhook myself from it to use the restroom. Today I tried a different physicaly therapy office and it was a completely different experience. The therapist was with me the whole time and worked with me on retraining my muscles to relax. I will not return to Farmington Valley Physical Therapy. I cannot say you will have a bad experience there. I do not know the circumstances around why my therapist did not return until it was time for me to leave.

The approach at Farmington Valley Physical Therapy is unmatched. I wish we had learned about their services years ago. I am forever in debt to their excellent staff for the relief they have been able to provide to our family when no other physical therapist made a difference.nnOn behalf of the Formica household, we would like to thank you all at FVPT for taking such good care of us, and we fully recommend your services to everyone we talk with who has pain.
