I went to get crochet dreads and the only positive thing i can say is that the locks are firm. Now the reason for 1 star is that when I asked for my dreads I asked for a specific type of separation and locks and she seemed irritated and complained that is going to take too long. So she did what she wanted and what I hated the most was the separation of the dreads one in specific was in the middle of my forehead and it looked like a unicorn horn.nAnother thing is that she wouldn’t give me another appointment for another 6 months not sooner. Paid $450 plus 60 tip and cut it a week after.nI found a guy hin name is Kelvin does crochet dreads add extensions and does everything you wish to have and you wouldn’t pay more than $250.
Although I have no one to compare her to I can tell you with confidence that Avani is simply the best at what she does. If you are considering getting dreadlocks check out her website for every stitch of information you will ever need. I drive over 2 hours for her to do my hair and she never rests until the job is done. Amazing talent, super knowledgeable and a friendly spirit. Thank you Avani for all you do!
Avani is the absolute best. Could not have asked for a better experience. I drove a little over two hours to get to her shop, but would happily drive twice as far. I will be making my follow up appointment tonight. Thank you Avani i love my new locks.
Unfortunately I never visited the shop for I live out of country but if there's anyone you should speak to for advice and help on your roots and locks it's this shop right here. Buying my first motorcycle I wasn't sure what size helmet I should go for but after searching 2 minutes or less I stumbled across their sizing char for different types of dreads. Couldn't be more helpful. Bless.
