Customer service girl was incredibly slow and rude and ill trained.
It's a walmart. I mean....
Worst curbside pickup experience. I ordered non-grocery items online for curbside pickup at the store. The confirmation email said to drive to the area marked “pickup” and call the number. Well, that was just for groceries, we were told once there, and we’d have to pull up to the front of the store (which is in no way marked “pickup”). What happened next was a series of calls and transfers to employees who told us to go back to the grocery area or to come in the store. Well, doesn’t that defeat the purpose of curbside pickup, which is clearly offered when ordering online? If I could come in, folks, I sure would.nnFinally, finally, finally we got an employee who was willing to bring the order (a small bag with wax melts and maybe a bag of coffee beans) to the car. As a person who is in isolation & at risk, I just wanted simple curbside pickup. It was offered. I ordered. I was given instructions via email.nnIt’s not like we are in the first weeks of the pandemic and businesses are scrambling to serve, working out the kinks and well deserving of extreme grace and patience. We are seven long months in and every store around does a great job with curbside orders. Walmart, why are you still so 2019??
While prices are good, the store is a mess. The staff could be a little nicer and more helpful as well.
I love pickup because I don't have to make eye contact with anybody when order 48 trays of ramen and 10 lbs of Beef Jerky.
