I really do love this park. It's very big so there's plenty of room for friendly gatherings Outdoors that's a little more covid-19 appropriate. Expectations are met and exceeded here with cleanliness. It's also a wonderful Park to walk your dog as well. There's a large field for soccer and trails for walking. There's even some steps that you can sit on just to watch the water and enjoy the company of others. All around it's a very good experience for Park.
Need more gazebos and a food truck
I love how this park has a little bit for everyone in the family including our dog!! The playground is always so clean. I love that there are 2 separate playgrounds separated by gates and age. The walking trails are nice. Our dog loves to run in the huge gated in dog park. We often go and take walks by the river. All around a gorgeous clean park!
Small, but well kept grounds. Picturesque views of the Connecticut River, recreational areas such as a ballpark, picnic tables, water-fountain, boat launch and an event venue. Very nice place to take a lunch break from the office during the work week. It's a hidden gem and you don't have to walk far from the parking lots to get great views of the river.
I come here often to walk my dogs. There are great paths to walk, although I wish there were more views of the river. This park has several sports fields (baseball, soccer, lacrosse), a basketball court, a covered pavilion with picnic tables, two playgrounds, a dog park, and a boat launch. This park gets pretty crowded in the afternoons and on weekends. It's very family-friendly so if you're looking for something to do with the kids, this is a good option.
