I had a pleasant experience. I was called on about 5 minutes after i arrived, and I didn't have an appointment,. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time.

Forms were not perpared correctly and taxes were already sent to IRS, fees are too high, a certied tax account can do taxes for 150.00 all included forms. 375.00 is crazy!!!!

Do not work at any HR Block in CT. I spent 4 months in their training class. Upon passing their class and being hired, I sent management several emails asking for the next steps. They ignored me for weeks, then my office manager Beatriz eventually called me into the office. She explained I somehow missed one of the in person orientation classes even though they were the ones ignoring me. Its a really long story they will receive in the form of a law suit. But the bottom line is I spend over 6 hours driving back and forth to an orientation that never took place. I even spent over 3 hours on the phone with the IRS and tried to go to the local IRS office to get my PTIN which never happened.nnI complained directly the the CEO of the company and instead of trying to fix the management of my area they proceeded to fire me.nnThis is the most disorganized company ever and they are not even concerned. All they had to do was sit me down at my office, hand me a manual, and have me do some software training. Somehow this process was too complicated for them.nnBETTER LAWYER UP HR BLOCK!!!

I would give them 0 stars if I couldnThey have licensed people but the lady Sue was very unpolite and rude. I couldn’t ask her anything because she’d say “I know what I’m doing, okay???” This is one of my first times reviewing a business and she was rude enough to make me do it. Also, they are very expensive $328 was the fee I had to pay. Last year I paid $175 at Jackson Hewitt
