Easy walk across the road to the actual trailhead. About 500 feet or so is the entrance on the left side of the road. The trail is about a mile loop and is fairly easy to navigate through. Great for a quick rip of an accelerated heartbeat. A beautiful view of the treeline ( you can see for miles in 1 direction) awaits you on the peak for your reward.
If you are looking for the EASTERN summit, drive north about half a mile for the main lot. It is poorly marked in Google Maps and All trails. Just keep going.
It was a great hike very peaceful lot of wildlife
Beautiful place for a small walk down to the brook. Nice for a picnic although the terrain may be too rocky for most people
So serene and quiet with the snow on the ground
