If there could be an option for less than one star that would be the option to select. No one likes going to the airport. Especially in this day and age. with that said it is the responsibility of every airline to rise to the challenge and make the experience maybe just a little better. United airlines absolutely refused to meet that challenge. This does not fall on any one employee. I want to be abundantly clear that the last employee that we dealt with was the best and maybe that's why this review gets one star. I don't have a name but she stayed after her normal working hours to try to make things right. My wife's flight was delayed countless times for countless excuses. We ended up driving two and a half hours and the other direction to go to a completely different airport just so that she can make her flight. It is the 21st century and it is simply inexcusable to have planes taxied to the runway just to get turned around due to mechanical failure. We all have jobs and we are all expected to do them to a certain level of professionalism. I think that's maybe why I am so irritated because the staff at Helena regional airport don't seem to understand that principle. In the future I will drive as many hours out of my way to not go to Helena regional airport.

Most friendly staff at any American airport bar none!nnA beautiful airport. From security to the gate is mildly confused but jump in the elevator and all is well.

One of my favorite little airports to fly into with its western charm and decor.. The staff is also very pleasant and helpful!

I love regional airports and this one is great. Small, easy to get in and out and easy to navigate. The people here really friendly and helpful. Ingress and egress from the airport is amazingly simple. One restaurant and a few gates.nnAfter dealing with so many large airports it's really refreshing and enjoyable to fly in and out of Helena.
