We got to go orders of Jerk Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Fry Chicken. Everything was delicious - clearly well made from real, fresh ingredients. I'm someone who doesn't handle spicy food really at all. The spice level was just on the level that I can tolerate while still enjoying my food; my hubby, who loves all things spicy, thought it was well flavored but wouldn't have called it spicy.
Steak was kind of hard to chew. So I came back for curry goat which was excellent. 1 spoon of cabbage isn't enough cut back on portion of rice to equal things out
My mother swears by this place! Their food has been consistently delicious since, forever. I stopped in today with a craving for curry goat and for it to be after 4pm, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Sis had it on deck! Every other customer was interested in the daily soup and it was a constant flow of patient customers, which is always a good sign. My plate also included sweet plantains, rice and peas. It was cash only but it's no surprise in CT. Highly recommend this Jamaican spot!
Horrible customer service, me and my mom went in and they gave off an automatic disrespectful vibe towards us. The two women working did not even get our order right because they were talking about other customers right in front of us. I'd advise you to take your business elsewhere.
Best Jerk food!!!! My husband and my 3 boys LOVE this place. Thats why they are always packed with a long line because the food is so delicious ud83dude0b.
