This year, Montana Department of Revenue insults our intelligence by claiming that for our security, it will take up to 90 days to process our returns. Once 90 days have passed, the phone lines are allegedly experiencing technical problems. So not only have they avoided phone contact for weeks, they are now ignoring and deleting email contacts. Borrowing taxpayer money without consent, is no different than theft. As of today, we have been waiting since February 6th of 2019. It is not May 14th of 2019. We are still being avoided and will now have to contact taxpayer advocates and/or legal council. They have indicated no problem with our return. Federal Government processed and deposited return in 8 days.
