There should be a dress code for the employees. I shouldn't have to worry when I bring my kids in that they should have to avert there eyes. They are role models especially to young girls. Have more respect for yourselves and your employees and please put more clothes on!

Daughter and I went here today... Drove 25 minutes to get there. You would think they are doing you a favor by accepting your clothing! Don't waste your time with this place. Donate your clothing! You'll feel better about doing it and you won't have to deal with the attitudes.

Plato's Closet is absolutely the best second hand clothing store anywhere. The staff at the Danbury location is always friendly. I never leave without buying something. The sales are great, but even when there isn't a sale the prices are excellent.

Love love love everything about this store! Not one complaint .... just besides the choice of dress code.. the girls working have to wear more than just a tube top with absolute no type of support under.. lol just bad for business. Still love this store and will continue to shop! =)

This location has never once bought anything that ive brought in. i went there once again today giving them a shot with 95% of the the clothes i brought with tags still on or only worn once. but they refused me because of “clothes being too worn.” im not sure if its a race thing because im a person of color trying to make some money but ive gone with white friends to the same location and theyve sold bags of wrinkled and stained clothes with no issue. i always try but with the best of luck theyve only bought one or two items from me and i get basically fractions of what it was worth. they always have some kind of bs excuse as to why they cant purchase a brand new item. and this seems to happen each and every time i go.
