Good for jogging here around the trails. Golf-disk course. Lots of off-leash dogs. The playground is off the main parking lot and includes a tot-size slide structure and bigger kid structure. There is a huge ivy like trees with intertwined branches forming a dome and you can wonder in inside. Large lawn in front of the mansion for picnics and a gravel path circling the large lawn for walking/jogging alike. Grateful to have this leafy park.
The Mansion’s property is beautiful. However, I would recommend staying on the immediate property. I would NOT recommend walking on the trails. It’s not safe for people or children. I was walking with my sister when a dog attacked and bit her. The dog then tried to bite me and I had to use my purse to prevent it. The owner took her sweet time to contain her dog. I strongly believe that people need to Be Aware that the dog walkers DO NOT use a leash. I saw so many dogs walking without a leash. It’s out of control. Really sad because it’s a pretty place. I would love to be able to walk on the trail without the fear of a dog attacking me. The park has to seriously in force that dogs need to be on a leash and only use the available dog park.
Cranbury is a great park for walking trails and disc golf. Dogs are welcome on the trails and people are mostly good about keeping their dogs under control. My main complaint is that the daily non-resident parking fee is excessive at $10. It should be priced no more than $5.
Fun place to take the dogs. ud83eudd7e
Doggy-friendly; off leash friendly.
