I emailed Kaia in 2019 to inquire about becoming a teacher there. I sent them my resume and we agreed on a date for an interview. When we met, the woman asked me about my resume noting that it states that I am always looking to further my training. Instead of interviewing me for a possible position there the woman pitched their training programs. It was soon obvious her only intent was to talk me into one of their programs. I hate to speak ill of a studio but the yoga community is held to a higher standard and certainly deception has no place in yoga as a business. Complete lack of respect for me and my time. They should revisit some of the yogic philosophy.

I love the Gentle Yoga classes, no matter which teacher is on. A fantastic way to stretch, relax and meditate.

Incredibly disappointed with the owner and administration of their 100 hour Meditation. A serious lack of communication, misinformation, inconsistent policies. No mentoring what-so-ever. Felt like just take your money and that's it. Never met with the owner, although it was stated that was part of the program. Felt like I was more of a nuisance than a part of the program. Not a welcoming feeling at all.

don't buy a classes card here or similar gift.....you must use it within a certain time or you lose the classes you have not used....to reactivate for another month they charge you $20..this cost me money and made it in the end more expensive than drop in.....I have tried to get them to change this via email but they don't respond.....too bad ...not bad place otherwise but who wants the feeling of being taken advantage of....

MONTHLY UNLIMITED MEMBERS BEWARE (even if you relocate you will be charged for 3 full months)!nnI haven't used Kaia yoga so I can't rate the experience. I would like to share some information about them that I found out however. They do have a monthly unlimited contract and a 30 in 30 plan. What differs from Kaia yoga and every other gym I have looked at is that their monthly contract does not allow you to cancel even if you relocate. Many gyms will have you sign a contract for at least a few months to a year but everyone I have looked at has a clause which says if you relocate you can cancel membership. Kaia yoga does not provide its members this (I even explicitly contacted their manager to confirm). Those looking to join need to consider this before doing so.
