My divorce case started in 08/18. At the time, I was self representing as I thought I would get a more agreeable settlement with my ex. It turns out that she & her lawyer took that to their advantage to rip me off of hundreds of dollars per week in support. To try to adjust this unfortunate settlement & get the divorce finalized ASAP, I began searching for a lawyer. Enter James Hardy! That lawyer basically took me for a ride for almost 4 months before I fire him, filed a complain against him then hire Kevin Black during the last week of 12/2018!nnKevin & Amanda REALLY took care my case & defend valiantly from the start to the end. They were very diligent & provide me with the proper & excellent advice through out the process. They were prompt in responding to my questions & worries. Kevin perfectly understood my case and rectified to the best of his ability most of the bad decision that were made earlier in my case. His cautiously optimistic approach to resolving the matter to the best of ability brought a truly satisfying ending to my case (all support were cut by 50% at least from where they were in 08/18) on 08/19.nnKevin & Amanda, again thank you, thank you, for all the great things you accomplished for me!nnI HIGHLY recommend the team of Kevin Black & Amanda Ell and without an ounce of doubt.nnR-E-S-P-E-C-T!!!!

Kevin Black did an excellent job advising us and handling our case from start to finish. Throughout the process he was very informative when explaining the best corse of action to take and the possible outcomes we could encounter along the way. Soon after working with Kevin it became evident that he is a well seasoned & experienced attorney who knows the legal system very well. We are very pleased with how our case was handled and the outcome in the end. If we could give more than 5 Stars! to Kevin Black, we certainly would!

Doug, Kevin and the staff are all quite helpful. Both attorneys have years of experience and know the laws quite in depth. Our family has been utilizing the services of this law office ever since back when their offices were across the street. This represents many decades of victorious results from this law firm.

Mr. Black is very unprofessional. He was a public defender for someone I know very close to me and he barely helped the kid. He hung up on his client while on the phone with him. He called his client names. He even told him “doesn’t get paid for this.” This makes me every upset because he’s suppose to help these people who can’t afford a lawyer. He is a very poor excuse for a lawyer & someone that suppose to represent the state.
