Stratford Sea Wall

One of my favorite spots to stop and just be. Amazing views of the water and light house. A couple of great restaurants to grab a bite to eat. Just an over all great place to be.

Stratford Sea Wall is a good place to sit and eat lunch. It's fairly peaceful and a long as it's not low tide it's okay. As far as being considered a tourist attraction, I'm not sure if go that far but you can overlook the ocean which can give a sense of tranquility.

Stratford seawall is becoming more and more popular of late. Unfortunately this means more regulation. No longer is fishing aloud from the seawall, just too many people and little kids. Also 2 hour parking limit signs are posted. If you can handle that it is a beautiful place to walk along Long Island Sound, see Stratford lighthouse, and swim at Russian Beach. After you can get a bite to eat at one of the two local restaurants where you can sit and enjoy the sunset and a drink or an ice cream.

A great place to visit.but I miss fishing from the wall , I always met great people there and always caught fish. Always.

Pretty busy most of the time, excellent place to watch the sun rise over the sound though.
